Alternative Beauty Artistry offers a comprehensive one-on-one private  & small group class that will give you the skills and confidence. This is especially great for people who want to learn and upgrade their permanent makeup skills. These courses will run on a monthly basis. This is to give students a chance to practice the new skills that they have learned and a chance to ask questions that come up during the week after each class.

Day 1 - PMU Fundamentals

  • Safety & Regulations

  • Introduction to Colour Theory

  • Bloodborn Pathogens

  • Skin Theory

  • Contraindications

  • Topical Anesthetics

  • Needle Knowledge

  • Healing & Aftercare

  • Insurance & Health Inspection Preparation


Day 2 - Practice

  •  2 Ombre Techniques

  •  Latex Work

  •  Intro to Brow Shaping & Mapping

  •  Colour Theory in Practice

  •  Working on Needle Depth & Pressure



Day 3 - Model Day

  •  Consultation

  •  Setting Up Your Business

  •  Intro to Branding & Marketing

  •  Hands-on training with live models under supervision

  •  (Student Must provide 1 Model)

 

OPTIONAL DAY
Day 4 - Model Day Continued (6 - 8 week Touch up)

  •  Student & Model continue with the touch up 6 - 8 weeks after the initial session
